Category Manager Food (m/f/d) FR
Your profile is:
- Completed training + professional experience or a business/technical degree related to the food sector
- Relevant professional experience in sales
- We require experience in the meat and meat processing industry
- Experience in the production or processing of food and retail is a strong advantage
- Good active network in the food sector
- Confident handling of MS Office
- Willingness to travel approx. 50% of the time
- Very good France and good written and spoken English skills, other European languages an advantage
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Problem-solving skills, a sense of responsibility and a high level of commitment
Your skills are:
- You enjoy communicating with customers, also in person
- You like to build up a network
- You enjoy winning customers for yourself and developing them
- You can efficiently implement new customers into the company organization
- You are constantly committed to keeping the flow of information between customers and internal departments going
Your tasks are:
- Researching and acquiring companies from the food sector (producers/processors/retailers)
- Expanding and maintaining business relationships with the aim of sustainably increasing sales
- Regional and cross-sector cross-selling
- Evaluation of customer requirements and formulation of solutions
- Presentation and active sales of our services
- Development, preparation and implementation of industry-specific sales and marketing campaigns
- Creating and processing individual offers with responsibility for results
- Carrying out market and customer analyses
- Attending and organizing trade fairs, congresses and conferences
- Preparation of reports
